Holly Marchant, PE - Engineer 

After completing her B.S. in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2012, Holly began her engineering career in downtown Austin, TX where she worked on commercial and industrial projects, including the Carpenter Hotel near Zilker Park and the Indeed Office Tower in the Domain.

In 2017, Holly traded Texas wind loading for California seismic design when she moved to Mountain View, CA. Her work focused on data center and retail projects, including Facebook Data Centers across the United States and a new Safeway Grocery in South San Francisco.

Since joining Verdant Structural Engineers in 2022, Holly has found her niche in blending technical engineering expertise with sustainability. She works across residential and commercial sectors using a diverse palette of materials – from traditional wood and steel to ecologically friendly strawbale and cob. Notable projects include The Pro sports bar in Palo Alto, The Mess Hall at The Presidio, and Viking Mike's Alpine Yurt Bar in Las Vegas.

Holly is a licensed Civil Engineer in California, Texas, Colorado, and Utah.
