SANTA FE BRIDGE HOUSE
This custom residence in Santa Fe, New Mexico bridges a dry arroyo using wood and cable-stayed trusses, allowing for views of downtown Santa Fe and the surrounding wildlife.
The home blends plastered insulated concrete forms (ICF), rammed earth, and wood-framed walls. The rammed earth provides thermal mass on the interior, enhancing passive solar performance, while salvaged and locally harvested spruce is used throughout.
The project is designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification.
