EXPERIENCE LEARNING YURT

The Pavilion Yurt at Experience Learning in West Virginia is a taper walled yurt with a reciprocal roof framed with locally sourced timber. The walls of the yurt are framed with leaning posts and the roof structure is a matrix of wood planks, both restrained with a steel cable tension band at the top of the wall.
