MICHIGAN LIGHT STRAW CLAY

This project involved the structural design for a custom timber-framed home featuring light-straw clay wall infill and a conical roof. Situated in an area prone to high winds, the residence utilized diagonal timber bracing for lateral stability. Every aspect of the design and detailing was specifically designed around locally sourced materials.
